Is there anything more tranquil than the soft cooing of a Mourning Dove in the early morning - or evening? Another favorite of mine. And the whistling of their wings as they burst into flight is a sound I will always cherish. Doves represent peace and, in my own life, I find peace in the presence of Mourning Doves.
