We've had a resident flock of Canadian Geese around here for decades as there was a power plant that used river water for cooling. The discharged water was warm when returned and kept the river open for the Geese! The plant has now closed and the river will likely freeze over. What will become of the Geese. I do hope they return this coming spring.
